I'm gathering some magic along with other fun things.
Recently I have started to play the card game Magic: the Gathering again. It is fun, I've played fun games against my brother and two of my friends, I've been playing more recently than when I started buying cards like 8 years ago. It amazes me that most of the cards I have we bought over a 2 or 3 year period, I have like 2000 cards or so I would guess, I never counted. Because I have started playing again I ordered some cards off the internet. I am waiting on 10 unopened packs, 5 of Fallen Empires and 5 of Homelands. The total was $21 with shipping. That is only $2.10 a pack, which is much better than the $4 they want for either of those expansions at MC Comics. That is why I don't buy from there. In the past 3 weeks I think I have bought 8 packs of Homelands, I want to get a Baron Sengir to put in my black deck. Everyone who reads this LJ and plays Magic should find their cards and start playing again if you haven't already. In other new I cleaned my room. There was a lot of my hair on the floor and in order to vacuum it I need to get most of the stuff off of the floor. So I decided to just clean the who thing. I came out with 3/4 of a garbage bag worth of crap to throw away. Now my room is much better, but I bet it will get messy again in the not too distant future. In other other news, I wrote that P.O.W. article for the school newspaper. I did it at like 10 on Thursday night and gave it to the editor on Friday. I told him it was crappy and would have to make it sound better but he was just happy to get another article in the paper. In other other other news, I finished midterms yesterday. It was the longest week of miderms since the dawn of time due to the snow days and delayed openings. Oh well, it's over now, I think I did alright on all of them. I have to write a college essay this weekend because my mom wants me to also apply to TCNJ just incase I decide I like that better than Rutgers. A 150 word essay is not big deal so with any luck I'll get that done on Sunday because I have work all afternoon today and when I get home I have to watch the Headbangers Ball on MTV2. In otehr other other other news last Friday I saw Iron Maiden at Hammerstien Ballroom in New York. It was alot better than when I saw them over the summer. They played such awsome songs as Hallowed By Thy Name, Brave New World, Wrath Child, Iron Maiden, The Trooper and about 6 songs off their new album, Dance of Death. It was super awsome. I got a t-shirt, that cost an astronomical price that I do not wish to list here. Ok I think thats it, sorry for the longness, but I had to tell you about all the recent happenings.
