Awesome Video Project! Make yourself a star! (If you're not already...)
Hey everyone! I just bought a 250GB hard drive! You know what that means?
If you guessed "Time to make an awesome YouTube video!" then you guessed correctly!
Alright, here's the dealio. I want to make this a semi-collaborative awesome video, so I'll need your help! I need each and every one of you to record a short (or very short) video clip of yourselves, saying something interesting. I'll then weave them all together with my magic, and make an even more awesome saying from all the small bits. Here are the rules for your video:
Rock out! Seriously, you should go to town on your video. I absolutely want to hear from everyone, even those I don't know so well and those who I don't know at all directly. It doesn't have to take long, just grab someone with a video camera (me, for instance) and say something into the camera. Or, spend hours and hours manipulating your stuffed animals into the perfect pose and hire voice actors to bring them to life. I don't care, I just really really want to make this happen! So do it! I'll buy everyone who does a muffin, HONEST TO GOD. (Remember to ask for your muffin.)
When your video is ready, e-mail me (or Facebook message, or IM, or livejournal comment or whatever) and we'll figure out to send your video to me. IM works pretty well, so we may just do that.

- You must be in it, either heard or seen
- There must be some English in it, either heard or seen (subtitles fine)
- Say anything you want, as long as it is interesting to you. A quote from a movie, your Ph.D. thesis, some random gibberish, stream of consciousness, dirty joke, whatever you want is fine.
- You may use puppets, but you don't have to
- You may scream, but you don't have to
- Any reasonable video format is fine
- Not too long, hopefully
- You include food, but you don't have to
- Try to keep the quality high enough that you can still see/hear yourself
- You may be ironic in the video, but you don't have to
- If you don't have a video camera, come get me to film you, or borrow mine (It's just a regular camera, actually. See if your digital camera has a video mode.)
- Tell all your friends! The more the merrier!
