NCAA trip, and the family

So I went to Tucson last weekend for the women's NCAA tournament trip and that was a lot of fun. The hotel was right next to the airport which, unfortunately for us, is out in the middle of nowhere. The cheerleaders wanted to use the bus to go to one of the many malls that Tucson offers all of the time. The hotel charged for internet, which really sucked but at least they had a nice pool. The women's team whopped up on Florida in their first round game, which is really fun for us. In the second round though they lost to Baylor, played well for over half the game but fell apart in the second half. In Tucson I got to go to a Spring Training baseball game with a few people, including my band director who had never been to one before. I spent alot of time with one of the girls in band, Amanda, and even asked her out on a date (it was very cute and romantic I might add). However, both of realize that she needs to fix some things about herself before she can begin to think about being in a relationship; so if something happens in the right context between us then great but if not it wasn't meant to be.

I've had a bunch of family in town this weekend, including like five extra people spending the night at my house. Friday was the funeral for my cousin's dad (my aunt's ex-husband)who died last month, so everyone is in town for that. They leave either tomorrow or Monday. Got to go out to eat on Friday night with all of the family to Gardunos where I also ran into Elena, Cale and Devin. Then tonight some of the family, including me, went to go watch the women's regional at the Pit. Tomorrow I guess i'm going to go to church and work on homework. That's it for now, I am out!
