Recent Happenings
Just wanted to update on the last week in my life. Before I left Washington I was able to get together with Drew, Mallory, Margaret, Darby, and others for Poker night and I finished 3rd out of 8 people, not too bad. On my last night up in the great northwest I went to a Blazers game with my family, which was alot of fun. There is a player on the Blazers team that I share a last name with even though he's black and I'm white, and I got a t-shirt with his (my) name on it. Then on Thursday morning I made the trip back to Albuquerque to play at a few Lobo basketball games this weekend.
Back in Albuquerque
The very night I get back I am forced into emergency lead part duty at the men's basketball game as the normal lead trumpet players are not there. Well I wasn't the greatest at it, I held my own for normally playing 2nd part. Had another basketball game on Friday night and Sunday afternoon as well for the women's team. Both teams are playing well right now and have a good shot at defending their conference championships. I went to a small New Year's Eve party with some friends up in the Northeast Heights. Always enjoy getting together with friends on New Years, sure beats setting at home watching TV. Anyways, thats it for now, good night!
