yeah.. people don't really listen to me about this either. but! it will be our circumstance, and there will be nothing to convince anyone of any longer

true dat. its what ive been thinking about for months now! we'll be okay on our farm together with bikes and veggie oil powered machines one day.. people fighting over who gets to eat our delicious locally grown produce cause they cant get their far away veggies anymore and oops they forgot that maybe learning how to grow yer own food is something important. OOPS. soceity is pretty depressing if you think about it. ugh. i try not to. ive been reading too much about bird flu and about the upcoming inevitable pandemic... half of the population is going to die! yeah!

it's not so depressing since it is bound to transform because it will have to! and that is the most UN depressing thing i can think of. but yeah,, it is of course the saddest thing that we got ourselves into this situation by generations of neglect of the spirit and malnourishment of the identity and just lack of care of values in general, lack of respect for nature. speaking of nature, i was reading about the pandemic today too.. cuh razy. another installation of fear, even if it is reality. so fucked up though. gah. i am just about pooping my pants to be in the woods on a farm again. i'm going to write you later

Well, that is the rather kid-friendly hypothesis of how things will play out, don't you think?

yes. the reality will be a much more severe, challenging and downright horrific, and fatal, for us all, and for urban populations especially. last year, one of the farmers, al, told me he wouldnt be surprised if he would eventually have to keep people out of his gardens with a gun. i never thought it sounded unlikely either

mmmm i hope so. a lot of people are too scared to hear such things which is really silly, but a lot of people are really silly. i guess it's good that some of us have know these things for much longer tho. the education will be good.
