The Dresden Dolls..

okay, so last night i went to a dresden dolls concert at lupo's and it was amazing. we left here around 6:30 - 7 and began going into providence. the line of cars for the atwells ave. exit was unbelievable, so nikki just cut one of the people within the front of the line. after we got onto atwells ave we took a wrong left [cause directions are stupid] and we ended up going the way back home. we took the state offices exit and went to petco to ask how to get to washington street. after finding out that information we did what he had said and parked next to the state house. from there we walked to lupo's. it wasn't that long of a walk, and it was raining out. it was kind of nice actually. a dramatic change from the usual stay-in-the-house-and-do-nothing routine.

lupo's was filled with people dressed and ready for halloween, and it kind of made me feel funny that i had not dressed for the occasion, nonetheless i had fun anyway. nikki put some eyeliner on me, and some girl that was being painted had dropped paint on us, so i decided to use it for face paint. i'm not sure if that is going to be a bad a idea yet, but we'll see when my face breaks out. the dresden dolls came on stage and they were astounding. they were so captivating. in one of their songs they had this girl on two different kind of fabric material hanging from the ceiling, and doing all sorts of amazing tricks. i had no idea how she was ever taught that, but i wonder if she had fell on her head because apparently she didn't understand that it's not safe to hang from fabric material from the ceiling. the rest of the performance was amazing, and at the end they had a bunch of the people who hosted it on stage to sing a song about sunshine or something. it was enjoyable.

we then left lupo's and continued on to the car. we stopped by starbucks just to sit by the fire. they had a weird painting in there that i couldn't really figure out. all that i had gotten out of it was that it was a journal or diary of some sort. we left starbucks and walked to the car. on the ride home nikki played some rod and tod. it was so funny. we got home. i made macaroni and cheese, and then i went to bed. that's what i did last night.
