Metrics
I think it's safe to say that in a bout of not feeling well, and being generally anti-social for most of the weekend, that I neglected to update the metrics.
Thursday: 2,500
Friday: 2,000
Saturday: 3,500
Sunday: 3,500
I think somewhere in there, I managed to finish one chapter and most of another. I say "most", because I need to research some things and skipped those parts, so I have to go back and fill them in. I also have to include some additional bits of StuffTM here and there in this chapter for it to be able to hold up on its own, but that's no different than the additional bits that I have to add everywhere else.
Seems like I keep adding words. Geez. I'm almost afraid to compile all the little files in one big document to tabulate the word count.
In any case it seems as if I will be signing up for the Big Bang after all, because the lower-than-usual word count on Thursday and Friday is largely because I could not get the plot or the story out of my head, and it was seriously interfering with LM. So, yes, I'll be doing the thing, and it will most certainly be the second plot that I came up with -- an AU, but not the sci-fi AU -- and, holy crap, I want to write it so badly, you have no idea, but I'm not writing one word until I finish and post part 9.
