Metrics and Questions: Week...?

May 27, 2015 20:54

I'm a terrible, awful person.  I... forgot to update?  I'm hoping that by now, people will know that when I don't update the metrics, it's because I'm in the home stretch to nearly being finished.

(Except for the part where I thought the last chapter was going to be the last chapter, and.  Yeah.  Nope.)

Over on Twitter, I said that I've officially lost track of the script.  The 1000-word outline that I worked on before I went on vacation back in April?  I probably followed the first 200 words and did a sharp detour.  I know where I'm going, I know where it has to end, and I'm pretty sure I'm not going to like writing that last chapter.

(Not because of anything overly terrible or anything like that.  Or at least, not what I'd personally term as terrible, so take that for what it's worth.  I'm going to hate writing that last chapter because it's the last chapter of Loaded March, not counting the Epilogue that will be its own part, and after writing the series for this long, I'm sad that it's coming to an end.)

I have, however, come to a somewhat desperate decision.  That decision comes with the knowledge that there is no way I can fold in every plot point and side story that needs to be told in the actual story that is being written.  So, instead of trying to write them, I've decided that the Epilogue will come with a Postscript.

So, if you've ever wondered about an aspect of the plot or have a question that needs answering, here's your chance.  The comments are unscreened (so you can post anonymously).

Edited to add: To clarify, at this point, I'm not asking for prompts for Extras at this point.  For the Postscript, I'm thinking more along the lines of Author's Notes.
