*claps hands, rubs them together* All right, let's do this.
So this is the Loaded March Scavenger Hunt: Jigsaw Puzzle Edition, where we'll try to cobble together all of the postcard excerpts into one post. This post will stay open from now until the end of the month of February (which, if anyone's wondering, it's still the 28th -- I had to check), at which point I will upload everything to AO3.
Here is how it's going to work:
In the comments section, you'll notice that there are already numbered comments. Find the number that matches the number on your postcard, and reply to that comment with the text from your postcard. If you can't read the globby handwriting, post a really good photo of the text in the hopes that someone can transcribe it. I won't be that person because there are days when I can't even read my own handwriting.
I'd mentioned in an older scavenger hunt post that it would be a great idea if you could include a photograph of the postcard next to something -- a landmark, an object, etc. -- that is representative of your town, your city, your state, even your country. This is purely so that I can have my own scrapbook and you are under no obligation to do that.
On March 1st (or shortly thereafter), I will post the full EXTRA on AO3 and I will link back to this post so that everyone can see how far ranging the postcards have gone.
And that's it. Jigsaw puzzles!
Anon postings are enabled on this post, and if anyone gets a message that their comment has been screened, don't worry -- I will unscreen it!
Edited to add (02 March 2014):
The full fic is now posted on AO3. Thank you for participating! I hope you had as much fun as I did!
