I'm bummed because I had to wake up hecka early and didn't have time to work out. I love my days when I start them with a run or just anything because it jump-starts my day and gives me so much energy. Any of you people who need midday naps should try waking up early and working out. Serious. It also makes you release more endorphins for a happier, almost heroine-high day! And if you're still not excited about getting that heart a-pumping, working out curbs your appetite so you eat less throughout the day. It's truly grand.
...enough of that...
So they switched the cash department with all the tech guys, but I stayed put so I'm in the middle of all these techy guys now (my brother is still here too). One of the guys has a little video camera on his cubicle so he can see who is walking around before they come into his cubicle. It's odd, really. But I just try not to walk by because that kind of weirds me out.
I got started on a new project today; a new project that I'm not working on right this second because I'm writing in this, but it's pretty easy. It's basically just database stuff and double-checking contract dates, etc. I came in today at 7:45, but the people who tell me what to do didn't get here until after 9 so Jennifer told me to "just go online or something" until they got here. Like a good employee, that is exactly what I did. Nothing fun though; even sitting online for 2 hours playing around would have been boring so I got some school stuff out of the way. We have these 30 minute videos to watch and then take tests on for extra credit in my microbiology lab. I got through 3 of the 5 of them, which I was quite proud of.
As for my weekend, it went very well. Saturday was Daddio's birthday so we went out to this Thai place called Lemon Grass, which was SO good. It would be a great place for a date or something - I loved it and I'm eating my leftovers for lunch (yum!) ...
As for my Nursing school quest, Liberty University is looking the most promising. If I get into the program it is looking like I'll be moving there in May of 2007 so all of you NoVAites can go ahead and start getting excited, I guess. I'm still going to apply to the other places on my list, but God just seems to be pointing me in this direction; still no neon signs, though.
Yeah so, I forgot to take a picture yesterday. What should I do, Anna? OH DEAR. Alright I'm leaving in fifteen minutes so I should work some more now.
xoxo.
