I'll be in DC in April

I'm going to be in DC, April 4-6, for the 2007 Nonprofit Technology Conference. I'll probably stick around for the following weekend and fly back on a Monday. That's probably pretty far ahead of most of our current planning threshold, but I'm open to suggestions for bars (and, you know, national monuments and stuff) that I should look for over

Yowza! I hope I'm in town then and not at a conference myself! We could hang out! (stating the obvious)

As soon as you know what part of town you'll be in, I can start scoping out bars and comic book shops for you. (By the way, I stopped by the one in downtown Bethesda - it's just okay. But I got a Sock Monkey comic, which I will have to loan you because it is wickedly cool.)

The conference is in the Omni Shoreham Hotel, and I'll be staying there as well, at least through Friday. The address is 2500 Calvert Street NW.

Sock Monkey is a lot of fun. Did you get the one where they're at sea?

That's only one metro stop away from where I work! And also not too far from where I live.

I saw that at Atomic Pop, and it looked cool, but I haven't bought it yet. I do have some older Sock Monkey. Maybe we can trade for awhile :-)
