Whew, the crazy exam week is almost over. Just one more exam and that's a take home that I have to turn in by friday afternoon. I'll probably get started on that tonight after work or somethin'.
It's been an eventful week so far though, first I decided to re-purchase my account on Phantasy Star Online: Blue burst for the pc. I just dloaded everything and subscribed. I was ecstatic when i saw that my character Aru, that i played on the beta back in May survived with everything I got for him. ^^ so he's level 24ihs or somethin like that. Laez and I played a bit the other day.
And i finally made it to the halfway point of Dragon Quest. ANYONE PLAYING THIS GAME, SKEEEP THIS PART, TIS A SPOILER!! lol, in fact i'll see if i can remember how to play with this and mark it as such link wise. Anyway, if not, just scroll down.
Dhoulmagus is one evil sunuvabitch! I worked my way into the Dark Ruins, ready to kick his ass since most everything in there wasn't too hard, except for those lightning casting headless capes. O_o don't know what the hell was up with that but 5 of them attacked me at once and each proceeded to get their first turn off by casting Lightning storm which hit most of my characters for 30-49 dmg each time. Now with the highest HP of my group being 268, lol that cast on you five times in a row before you get a turn adds up. >_> Yesh ppl died. Anyway, back to Dhoulmagus, I get to him, and he's all "Hahaha you got here just to die!" Bam cue scary theme music for this battle which i thought was eerie and cool. I do all the stuff for my turn and then Dhoulmagus splits off into three forms of himself O_O. Now i'm all choked up and worried. I mean, he has the damn magic scepter after all! Well, i smack him pretty hard, using tension with the Hero and Yangus. Did a good 250 dmg twice with Falcon blade...then he got mad...very very very mad. His doppelganger lashes out with some aoe attack that blasts everyon for 34+ dmg. Ok not bad. But then Doppelganger #2 moves in to attack, WHAM hits my Hero who has really good equipment i made from the alchemy pot, for 56 dmg. Ouch, kinda scary. But then, the real form does this silly attack called "Debris" which picks up rocks and stuff from the ground and blasts Jessica! it hit her twice for 70+ killing her instantly.
Then, my turn comes up again, i try to ressurect her, and Dhoulmagus takes another turn, by first negating all of my buffs so that now his attacks hit me for twice as much dmg as they were doing before. >_< Yeah, needless to say he wiped me out before i coudl say "Fookin Jebus on a Pogo stick!" lol. Dead, that guy is no joke and I believe I have some leveling to do ^^ I looked on Gamefaqs.com to see what others had to say about the fight and apparently he's made them cry like school girls too, so least i'm not the only one. O_O lol, so crazy.

KINGDOM HEARTS 2!! I saw this amazingly beautiful trailer lastnight with such a cool opening theme sung by none other then the wonderful Utada Hikaru herself (a favorite artist of mine). If anyone hasn't seen it yet, and is a fan of the game like I am, you really must dload it and prepare to twitch and twirl. Anyone wondering, about three years ago when KH first came out and i was a 19 year old sexy sophomore, I went bonkers awaiting it's arrival in september. It freaking came out the day i got my new job at M&T bank ^^ hahaha. But, it was so worth the wait, at least for me anyway. I'm a disney nut and FF fan obviously so i accepted the idea with glee over the combination of the two companies putting their heads together to make such a wacky sounding game. What emerged was something i never thought could have been possible. It said E on the ratings, but near the end it got crazily dark in the storytelling and ended on a high note, which was proof there'd be a sequel. And weeeeeeee there was, on GBA with Kingdom hearts: Chain of Memories. Really cool game if you haven't played that, though the card system is odd, the storyline is topnotch. Plus, there's FMV's on it O_o don't ask me how they pulled that off but its really cool. Playing that though won't ruin the experience for KH2, but it does tie up some loose ends from KH1 and introduce the XIII Organization who plays a dominant role in the new game. Anyway, this game looks to be going the more darker direction where KH1 treaded and Chain of memories went dead on. O_o some of the bad guys in that one swore and stuff lol. Japan gets it next week, December 22nd for the holidays and we should see a release in the next three months. March 2006 seems to be the tentative date set for us. Sold soul to playstation? Yes indeed ^^ lol. oh and one other thing, Sora looks bad ass now! AND... I want Seifer's beanie hat!! >_>
