(no subject)
OK so today I am officially freaked out because last night I could have been in the worse danger of my life and didn't even know it.
Okay let me tell you the story. This morning we wake up to Gio's dad asking Gio if he can take his sister to school. and then I ask Gio "Why isn't your mom taking her this morning, what happened?"and he was like "i have no clue". So he gets up and asks what going on and his dad was like "we have a situation here". When Gio comes back into the room he was like '' My mom can't take her to school because sh left her car outside the garage last night and it was hacked into'' So i went outside to see exacly what happened and the Chrysler 300 was on bricks with the Tires and rims missing. and then he told me to look inside the car and turns out that the steering wheel and entire gps system was missing aswell. and then i look to the back of their car and the back lights were missing aswell. They did all of this last night without making a single sound.
Now as to why I could have been in danger last night:
Obviously, they did all of this within the course of the night. Last night around 12ish Jeff called me to ask me if he had left his phone inside my car. So I get up to go check and then Gio wakes up and he was like ''babe where are you going?'' and i told him I was going outside to check if Jeff left his phone in my car. Gio was like ''don't go outside alone this late'' and i told him i had to check because he may have lost it elsewhere. And then when I went to open the front door, Gio comes outside after me to keep me company. Note my car was parked right in front of the front door lol I thought he was being way too paranoid. But you know what? He may just have saved my life because if I would have gone out there alone and the burglars would have been out there hiding, they could have done something to me. But the fact that Gio came out after me may have changed their minds so they stayed hiding. Thank god I didn't go out there alone. i would have been in big time danger.
Now I am freaking out because it all happened right in front of the house where everyone was sleeping. Who knows what else they could have done. I hope they got what they wanted and stay away for good.
You know what REALLY gets me? the fact that our neighbors are COPS. One of them is a big time Crime scene investigator for Miami-dade police and the other one is a regular cop. I don't know how those burglars had the courage to do all of that so close to a cops house!
