Meeting with Hinata-chan.
What a day!
First off, I went to the library to study genjutsu and ninjutsu a bit, since I've been dealing with nothing but taijutsu and my specialty techniques lately. I learned a whole lot! I have yet to practice the techniques, though. I'll also have to rent the books to try them out.
Second, when I got home, I remembered my meeting with Hinata-chan. I forgot about it. I couldn't forgive myself. I got a quick (very quick!) shower, and umm... combed my hair. Then I left without putting on my sweater, and I took Akamaru with me to Hinata-chan's.
It was awkward at first. I don't think she recognized me, to be honest. When she invited me in, I agreed, though I was too freaking clumsy. Worse than that idiot Naruto. I really don't know what got over me when I was with her, but it seems to happen more frequently. Gah, I wish I knew what it was. Anyway, we sat down and had tea by the koi pond while Akamaru ran around barking at the fish. Hinata looked a bit worried, so she threw him a cookie, which he ate. Then he went over to Hinata, knowing that she had these cookies. We talked about how much she and Akamaru got along together, and that led me to ask about how her training had been going. I was very relieved to find out it was a good workout and that she was doing just fine with everything, and that she was able to keep up. She also said that she didn't want me and Shino to slow down for her. She was fine with catching up to me. I didn't really know what to say, so I looked a way a bit. My face was really hot. So totally not me.
Hinata always knows what to do in tense situations. She suggested that we go play with Akamaru, so I stood and offered her my hand. She took it and dragged me along. I stumbled on a rock, and before I knew it, I was soaked with ice-cold koi pond water. After I pulled a fish out of my shirt and put it back in the water, Akamaru came charging into the pond after me while Hinata was nearly hyperventilating with apology. I burst out laughing... I kinda realized that my reason for being there was kinda stupid and all. More unrealistic, maybe... but I certainly want to go back again. It was way too much fun to pass up a second time, yanno?
Anyway, I gotta go study somemore and get the algae out of my ear with a q-tip.
