Sad but Happy
That subject sounds like the name of a Bjork song or something. Argh! Adam and I have parted ways. It was more my decision; I told him that I didn't want a boyfriend in college. He said he was okay with that, but he's also sad, and probably a little angry about it. I'm sad too, but I feel much better about leaving. I like to be independent sometimes, and my first year or so at college, I want to be alone. Adam's a great guy though, and I hope, after the dust settles, that he and I can be friends. I'm just going to give him some time right now though.
I've found that when a girl dumps a guy, she is looked at as some sort of criminal. You know, oh she's a bitch because she dumped that poor guy. But I've been that girl, more than once, and I know now that there's always more to the situation than you may know. Unless the girl has proven herself to be a total ice-bitch, she has her reasons, and while it's always sad when things end, and nice people have their feelings hurt, sometimes things just have to be.
