The big picture
Sean, I've gotta agree with you here. Music is by far my favorite art form. I mean, visual arts are great... theater, movies, sculpture, paintings, architecture, dance, fashion... I love it. But music... it just hits something inside of you that you just can't explain. It can sum up your entire range of emotions.
Listening to "Do You Realize" by the Flaming Lips, and I guess it just encaptures exactly how I feel right now. Sometimes, things are so great and it's hard to slow down and realize how great they are. The line where they say "You realize that life goes fast, it's hard to make the good things last"...
No matter how down I may feel, I have to remember to look around at my good things. And listen to lots of Flaming Lips. I'm so lucky to have what I have... no matter what.
