I Make Friends! The Saga
Okay, so my room mates are totally awesome girls, but I finally made some real friends outside of my room today! :) I went to this BBQ for kids in the same scholarship program as me, and I met all these crazy kids. It was great. We played frisbee and then talked for a while, and it looks as if I'm going to hang out with them tonight. It's sort of tricky, this friend-making, because I feel really pressured to be really funny and charming so that they'll like me. Yes yes, they'll most likely like me anyway, but still! I worry. But it's all good.
I think I'm going to go to a frat party with this guy Shan tonight... that should be hilarious. We both want to go to ONE frat party this year, and there are tons right now, so we figure, why not? Who knows if that'll happen. Or I could go to one with my room mate. Hmmm... is it weird that I really want to go to one? Not to drink, but to watch crazy frat people.
It is a beautiful day today... I'm going to go do some homework on the Charles River docks.
