Got home from a cockatil party/jazz show. Good tunes, the trumpet player told the story of Billy Strayhorn writing "a-train" about directions Duke Ellington gave him to find the studio in Harlem. Shared a J with this old dude who knew the 1955 lineup of the Brooklyn Dodgers by heart. Weird times for sure.
