In the tech booth
So I'm doing sound for a show and stuck in the light/sound booth for the 8 night in a row- basically. But it's closing night and there are some awesome people in the cast and crew. Tonight was a blast, everyone relieved and goofing off. The house is open. The show will start in about ten minutes and I'm playing house music... regina spektor and sublime... maybe some andre 3000- just to keep things light.
Halloween in Chapel Hill--- and I have no costume....
I am finishing a ton of big projects and things today. I won't know what to do with myself after tonight.
Everyone is rocking out!!! I can hear people backstage singing along... which would normally be a problem, but it's closing night and the house is packed and everyone is remembering why they do this in the first place.
