You're a Touch Overrated
I love summer. I mean, it's not as warm as i would like it to be (my dresses continue to sit in my closet), but I did wear shorts one day. It's not QUITE summer though, still got about three weeks left of school, including finals week. It's been so hard to concentrate with people being home and out doing stuff! I'm gonna have to work extremely hard to keep up in classes. Especially my comps class, I've been sick a lot and it's been worse of days I have that class. I guess no deans list for me this quarter.
The big news lately is that Ashley and I got an apartment! I think it was a good sign as soon as we saw the walls were purple and green. It's in a very cute area two blocks from the southport stop on the brown line. There's an sbux two blocks away. Also, lots of bars for after 21! It's walking distance from wrigley, too. I've got a lot of worries about trying to live away from home again, but I guess there's more reasons to think it'll work out better this time.
After putting down our deposit on the apt, I went to the mall with Nik, Katie, Steven, and Lauren. One of the guys from Daisy of Love was there! And we saw him EVERYWHERE! We also went to Red Robin, which I think I'm becoming a little obsessed with. BTW, guacamole on a burger is the best thing ever!
Later we watched say anything and had deep, deep discussions about life.
I'm stoked today. I have no school tomorrow!
