:D I'm really glad. It took a while to decide how not-Eliot Eliot would be, where all his quirks came from etc, and the same for Nate. There's something a little creepy about the thought that they've been planning this, if not to this extent.

That's such a lovely, evocative phrase. I really enjoyed the story.

I think Tim Hutton does have laughing eyes. :D At least when he's not playing Nate at his most broken... You feel like you're being perpetually mocked. Hehe.
