Day 21 - The Defiant
So I was really stumped on this one, (especially since most of my cannon ships are above), and then my trusted friend pointed out it was really simple. It was only ever going to be a Trek Ship, a Wars Ship, Serenity or Galactica. While Serenity has a charm of its own and Galactica was an old battle-axe we loved to piece back together... I have always loved the Defiant.
So yes, I know I'm cheating. But I'm cheating with Sci-fi porn?
Day 22 - Battlestar Galactica Finale SPOILERS BELOW, SPOILERS BELOW
Maybe I'm a bit easier broken than I was once, but this finale destroyed me. It was planned to take exactly as long as it took, and it took exactly that long (though they may have lost me a *little* in season 4). Which made the ending clean and tidy (you listening SPN? huh?) and... just an emotional blast. They didn't do anything they didn't need to. They didn't over sell by ONE IOTA. You didn't expect ANY of the twists. Some you didn't even realise had hit you until AFTER THE EPISODE. And it wasn't perfect and it wasn't happy in places, and yet it was hopeful. Real. Perfect.
