hi, everything's great
well crappp. i'm gonna have to go to this early november/limbeck/hey mercedes/spitalfield shindig as much as possible. at least i know quite a few people who will be interested in hitting it up with me. spitalfield's site says "The tour starts in California and makes it's way through the Midwest... More info on that soon..." which would lead one to believe it might not even be on the east coast but limbeck's site says it's a full US tour. good god i better be able to go to AT LEAST 2-4 of these puppies. cause, well... the early november, duh. and i do love hey mercedes and limbeck. limbeck are super cute boys and i want to meet them. if nothing else i better at least get a syracuse show and a denny's trip. and possibly some dance clubbin with pj. word.
speaking of shows. there's also skate and surf. which is a huge event in itself... of course including spending time with KRIS!! and of course around that time there will be mad amounts of FINCH/recover/counterfit... not to mention all the other bands that plan tours around skate and surf.
and then. the incredible yet-to-be-named warped tour excursion. here's the tentative itinerary...
7/23/2004 Cleveland Tower City Amph Lot /N Coast Harbour [to "scope out" the situation, start the plan, and steal something to get signed throughout the rest of the tour...]
8/5/2004 Philadelphia Tweeter Center at the Waterfront
8/5/2004 Pittsburgh Post Gazette Pavilion [i'm assuming this is either the 6th or the philly one is, hmm]
8/7/2004 Asbury Park Englishtown Raceway
8/8/2004 New York Randall's Island
8/9/2004 DAY OFF [did someone say HERSHEY PARK?!.. sadly the jersey bands might go home, hmm]
8/10/2004 Hershey Hersheypark Pavilion [theme park fun!]
8/14/2004 Toronto The Docks [o canada]
8/15/2004 Detroit Pontiac Silverdome
8/16/2004 Cincinnati Riverbend Music Center Lot
8/17/2004 Columbus Germain Amphitheatre [probably not these two, it's a LOT more driving]
8/18/2004 Buffalo Darien Lakes PAC [home field advantage baby. this will be the highlight no doubt. ROLLER COASTERS AND ROCK STARS!!]
8/19/2004 Boston Brockton Fairgrounds
8/20/2004 Boston Brockton Fairgrounds (10 year reunion) [these last two days = all party, no sleep... culminating in jill and i achieving our life long goal....]
i'd like to state now for the record that... what happens on the road stays on the road. muahaha.
jobs and names and laminates. scavenger hunts and photo missions and a tour journal. living on vending machine food and wendy's 99cent menu. hotel room stealing and internet connection borrowing. insanity. just insanity.
if you'll be at any of the above shows, let me know, and we'll rock. also, if you live close to any and are willing to let 3 amaZing girls crash on your floor, we'll introduce you to tons of bands and possibly hook you up with other shit. :)
