Bloody Brigadoon
Brigadoon. With a dancing Gene Kelly and Van Johnson. Why does this seem wrong to me?
I should go to bed and put myself out of the misery of watching this. Because apparently that would be easier than changing the channel. God, the accents are just soooooo bad!
The oldest nephew is coming over tomorrow and we are going to attempt the border...if the lineup/wait is less than an hour that is. If its longer than that...I think I will suggest we turn around and hit the board shops in Kits instead. As long as Auntie spends money on him I don't think he will mind either way. It was his birthday yesterday (16!) and the younger nephew's birthday yesterday as well (6!) so we are shopping for bday prezzies for the both of them. WTF is a Webkins? I guess I will find out tomorrow. Older nephew wants clothes and video games - easy to accomodate.
So, work sucked this week. 'Nuff said.
I was all cultured like last weekend :) Went to the Monet to Dali exhibit at the VAG and renewed my yearly membership while I was at it. Now I can pop in on the way home from work all the time again. Much rather do that than hit the VAG on a Saturday with the masses...and there were masses there on Saturday for the exhibit. I wanted to spend far more time admiring the Van Goghs. "Two Poplars on a Road Through the Hills" was my favourite (no Starry Night in the exhibit unfortunately...yeah, I wish eh...) Too many people to thoroughly enjoy it. Its on until next weekend though so I will pop in a few times after work next week and hopefully it wont be so busy.
Damn - Dancing frickin' Gene Kelly it totally ticking me off now so I must get up and go to bed - or get off my ass and find the remote - but if I'm getting up anyways methinks its for bed.....
