Everything is sort of hectic now that it's the end. There's only a month to go and are we ready? Nowhere near it. But everything is coming together so I'm not too stressed about it. I probably am but Stress is like my middle name so a little more can't hurt. We (accidentally) found a real estate agent and I think he's going to do some good for us. If everything goes as planned we'll close on a house by the end of October, just in time for our lease end. We're not really picky, so as long as he can find the house, we'll probably like it. Anyway, he sounds like he knows how to make things work for us, so I'm excited. We've been driving around looking at houses for a couple weeks now and man is it taking a toll on my patience and gas tank. It's like all the houses that we thought would be alright would end up being total crap. So we gave up (more or less) on the internet search business and just began driving around looking at neighborhoods and writing down addresses we were interested in. It still makes for a tedious process. Aside from the home search, guard is going well. I am very impressed with the girls and their abilities and organization so early into the year. First show is nest Friday, so everyone wish us luck. Anyway, everything else is going well- our dog is still that crazy puppy doing all sorts of nutty things, but she's adorable and we love her so we always forgive her. Somehow you can't stay mad at that dog for too long because she's just too cute! She sure can create a mess though.
So that's my update... I spent a few hours cleaning our apartment this morning so now I'm just killing some time before rehearsal... Uh yeah, evening rehearsal- no sun, no heat? Sounds like my kind of guard rehearsal.
