Finally saw it.
I did love it. It was almost perfect.
I want my own BB-8. Right now.
I loved Rey and Finn.
Silver Stormtrooper. Female Stormtrooper. She was pretty bad ass.
Was not even thinking Kylo Ren could be related to Han and Leia. I'm glad they were together for, well, the backstory was a little thin on their life together. The split was when Kylo Ren turned to the dark side. I guess that'd put a strain on any couple. ;) I thought it was pretty balls to the wall when Han confronted his son, using his given name, no less, right on the walkway. Then Ben has to be an asshole and kills his father. *mind blown*
Okay, I have to get on my soapbox for a second. I'm barely over seeing Han frozen in carbonite and now I had to watch him be impaled by his son and killed by a lightsaber. Really? That's how Han and Leia's story ends. I was going along thinking, well, they will have to get through to him in the next movie and everyone will live happily ever after. Yes, I know rainbows and kittens can't be the solution to the problem, but as us shippers, it's quite a lot to take in. I think at the very least the theater should've passed out Xanaxes. *off soapbox*
How about Chewie witnessing that?
Then finally Luke looking bad, like William H. Macy bad in Shameless, stands on the mountaintop not saying anything to Rey as she extends the lightsaber to him.
Now that's a cliffhanger.
What'd y'all think?
