Potentially addictive
I've started Twilight by Stephenie Meyer. Actually, I read like a hundred pages this afternoon. I think this is what Meg Cabot would write if she could write angst. However, I haven't run across any "or whatevers" or "so totallys" in Meyer's writing. *g*
Bella's a little depressing and whiny, IMO. I'm not very far in the book yet, though, perhaps her mood changes when she gets to know Edward more, but I doubt it. I have a sinking feeling it's just going to get angstier. I'm not sure if I can finish this whole series if that's the case. Aren't there three or four more books after this?
For those of y'all that have read the whole series, is it worth my time? Should I finish this book and see how I feel? Or is it like the Harry Potter books and you can't stop once you start?
