weddings and piercings

So, Amy got married Sunday! And everything went beautifully! No problems, nice weather, and Amy was the sweetest bride I've ever seen. Won't bore anyone with all the details, unless you ask. But suffice it to say, everything was lovely. Got a lot of great pics. Amy was a beautiful bride. And Stephen,... the guy I've complained about on this blog before... totally behaved! He didn't want an actual ceremoney, but he did fine! He seemed to actually kind of enjoy himself; as much as a groom can. His love for my sister really showed. I toasted them, and talked about some of the things I love about their relationship: romantic things he's done for her in the past that I've "approved of". The point is they are happy together, and in love. So, good for them.
They're in Hawaii now. Amy called me last night to say things are going well, and they're having a blast. It was Stephen's first time on an airplane, and he did great with it. They're going to a luai(sp?) on Thursday. Can't wait to hear all the details and see the pics when they get back! Amy cracked me up though. Several times in the conversation, she said, "Lisa, you need to find a nice man to take you to Hawaii." hmmm, "nice man"? isn't that an oxymoron?

In other news, I got my belly button repierced last night. Hurt less the second time, but it's not like it's the most painful thing ever. My stomach and my back hurt ten times worse than all 10 of my piercings combined. 3 days of cleaning, 3 times a day, and ointment, then like 2 months of cleaning. I took the bracelet off that caused the first ring to be taken from my skin... So hopefully, this one will last. Worst part is, I can't tan for a month!!! aaaahhh! I'm gonna be so white, and that's sad.

And now it is time for me to decide which city I will live in, and what career I will pursue. I need to get on that. Just not until after September, cause I have to work this whole month, and the 30th Amy and Stephen are coming out to their first MBL game- Cubs at Wrigley, losing to the Rockies I'm sure. Sigh. They suck right now, and that's sad. Oh well, I still love the Cubs.
Time for me to sign off...
