am I niave to think that sex should be more than just a physical act? Am I stupid to think there should be emotion and feeling. Love and trust? Am I idiotic to feel that anything less than that is wrong?

Apparently I'm one of the precious few who feel that way. I'm not saying you have to get married...I'm just saying BE IN LOVE.

Noooo you're definitely not wrong. I've had sex when I was in love, and I've had sex when it wasn't about love at all, and it was like two completely different things, not even the same basic act.

And I have to say I regret the sex that didn't involve love

I completely and utterly agree, Lauren. *sorts thoughts* I know people who have had sex with someone...not as a one night stand...but they were never planning to stay with that person..it was more their hormones taking control. See planning to stay together/being able to envision marrying the other person and being in love go hand in hand...I might be wrong...but if you say "I'm not marrying this person/I'm not planning on a LONG TERM with this person" then why do it except for hormones raging for gratification.

I'm not condemning people for doing the above..it's more of a personal thing I couldn't do
