Month in Review

I'll break this down in to a few things that describe most of the month...

OTAKON!
Otakon was fun, as always. I worked for Karaoke again and was with animejpop and potassiumman and had fun while stationed there. Overall, the quality of singers goes up every year, which is happiness to my ears in a disturbingly literal fashion. I only brought my Dan from Street Fighter costume with me and wore that on Saturday and Sunday, which was awesome as I got lots of pictures taken (was the only Dan at the con seemingly O_o) but then was saddened when a Kyo cosplayer told me about the huge Street Fighter vs King of Fighters brawl that happened on Friday... right outside where I was working :P I need to remember to check the forums for this stuff from now on -_-; Unfortunately, the special signings for staff members never happened, so I didn't get my copy of VP2 signed by Silmeria's seiyuu. It was very fun though, and reminded me why I love being staff... I always wandered back to Otakafe anyway, but now I get free room and food!

TEETH! PAIN!
Two days after coming back from Otakon, I had all 4 wisdom teeth removed. The two lower ones were impacted, the one on my left was so badly impacted that it was in the jaw nerves! Thankfully, I was under anasthetic for the whole operation in addition to being utterly worn out from the con :P For the next two weeks I ate nothing but yogurt and pudding, taking pills every 3 hours. I can barely remember those weeks... other than playing World of Warcraft and randomly feeling like there was a sword in my mouth.

FREE! FREE AT LAST!
And now everything's back to normal as the side affects of the meds and fluids-only diet wore off :D

Most people post weekly, or even daily... bah to them, I say. That's too easy. Monthly walls of text for the win!

Oh, and you all need to beat VP 2 so I can actually talk about it... *glares at sister*
