Campin'

Just got back from campin on Newcastle Island yesterday. It was so much fun, haven't had fun like that for a really long time. I really enjoyed myself, no worries, no cares and best of all free! Hahah take that Government, looks like we beat you park fees payment system. So went there on Tuesday, I took the ferry over during the day, set up camp and went on an 3 hour hike. It was nice to be alone in the forest for a change. Lindsay and Alex came over around 5, they canoed over lol. They picked me up off the rocks and on we went. Went back to camp, had a fee drinks, and thought 'hey let's canoe to that pub on protection island'. They have a floating pub, only one in Canada. So we hopped into the canoe, slightly loaded and paddled away! I made some video footage as well. Not the most exciting video, but still fun none the less. You can hear me narrating it, Lindsay is in front of me, and Alex behind me. *put up later* Went to the pub, had a few drinks, gave the pub patrons a good show, they were all rich Americans with their big yachts, apparently they found us and our canoe rather funny. Canoed on back to Newcastle, had a few more drinks and then played some GPS hunt game that Alex had brought along. Using a GPS device you had to find some random objects that were burried on the island using cordinated off the internet. It was really dorky, but really fun lol. Drank some more, went to bed basically. We got up really early about 8 so we could book it from the camp site, the ranger comes around at 11 to collect fees, so if we leave early, we don't have to pay ;) Lindsay stayed on the island to meet up with some family that was coming over and me and Alex canoed home. It was a great time and I can't wait to do it again :) Ya I don't remember how to post pics lol
