A considerable amount of time has passed since Tanabata, and I would like to kindly extend my thanks to everyone who has expressed interest in helping me with this play. I must admit that I was not anticipating this task to be so involved; as a result you may not have seen me outside of the library in quite a while ( Read more... )

I can't recall any fairy tales at the moment, but I'll let you know if I do.

Have you remembered anything like that? I'm sure you can check the library, as well.

Fairy tales, you mean? I read over several collections of them at the library, but I would prefer to choose one that people are already quite comfortable with.

Wouldn't people be familiar with some of those stories, if they're in books?

I suppose that can be very difficult, considering how many different kinds of people are here.

Depending on the story, yes. I imagine fairy tales and stories passed down by word-of-mouth are common in all cultures and likely appear in other worlds besides my own. The stories themselves may differ, but they may offer similar themes and lessons.

Yes, this is true. Still, there should be a few stories available that could bridge the gap. For example, most people here seem to understand themes like love and friendship, the importance of kindness and fighting for what one believes in... things of that nature.

[Oh the irony, Ren. Who are you talking to about love? You don't understand that yourself.]

It's really quite amazing, isn't it? We come from so many different places, but we're not all that different, at heart.

Those are very nice themes, and ones that anyone can relate to, I think.

[Terra's been struggling with love for a long time; she can relate.]
