Ahh... When I was told that I would receive an "item from home" for attending the Tanabata ball, I was expecting something along the lines of a hand towel or a gift basket. It's just a bit... more than I thought people would get. That's pretty cool, though. Now you don't have to take the bus to the onsen.

[Imagine a sigh.] You speak as if I visit the onsen frequently when in fact I had never even been inside the facility before Tanabata.

By the way, Ms. Mogami, how serious are you about becoming an actress these days?

I was just trying to look on the bright side! It's the only lengthy road on the island. Maybe now you will be more interested in going.

I'm serious about acting... I think. I can't sing and I can't think of any other talents I have. And despite the play being beyond stupid, it was fun being on stage. It's something I'd like to try again more seriously. With a real script.

Ah, yes, well... thank you for that. Unfortunately it still isn't much of a long stretch of pavement and speeding along it at 50 mph would just be careless, but the onsen itself was nice and might be worth a return visit.

Hrm....

So you'd like to try acting again more seriously? That sounds promising enough and unfortunately I don't have the comfort of picking and choosing. You're hired.

You said you'd like another go at acting, didn't you? What better way is there to test your capabilities than to go head-to-head with a professional actor?

I don't think you will find many alternate opportunities around here, if Axel's play was any indication.

I suppose guts are better than disinterest. Also, I don't have much choice, unless you know of other actors in this place.
