Great News for Fanfic Writers & Readers!
Do you guys remember this post? Well clearly you guys responded! The Vorkosigan series has been added as a new fandom at ficfinishing!
What does this mean? If you write Vorkosigan fic and you currently have something sitting unfinished on your computer, dust it off and get ready to finish it! This comm has helped me finish chapters and entire fics so I really recommend it. The Techniques Posts they have offer so much excellent advice to get you un-stuck, and there is a lot of lovely cheer-leading between participants as well.
If you are a reader, you can help as well! You know that cheer-leading I mentioned? Loads of it comes from readers just like you! You can be what is called a First Reader. It's not a Beta Reader-- you aren't expected to edit the fic, just to encourage the author. Check out ficfirstreaders if this sounds like the perfect job for you. New fandoms always have trouble finding readers, but how could you not want to get a first peek at some awesome Vorkosigan fanfic?
And when you do finish your fic, you can share it here at lmbujold as well. The community has been too silent :(
