NYC was over way too fast...

So as you all know, the senior trip was Monday-Wednesday. It was one of the best times of my life. It all started when I set my alarm clock for 4:55 on Monday morning. I got ready real quick and mom dropped me off at the school. Mainer was the only one of my friends there, but Amanda quickly followed him. Pretty soon, everyone was there in the cafiteria awaiting the buses. When the buses came, we got on and got ready to pull out of West Middlesex. I was sitting by all of my friends, so I knew it would be an interesting ride. We watched "Father of the Bride", then as it was over, we made a rest stop somewhere in the middle of PA. After the stop, we watched "Remember the Titans." As that was over, we stopped at a place where there was a McDonald's, Friendly's, Arby's, and Burger King and we ate there for lunch. I, naturally, picked Arby's. After Arby's, we were about 2 hours from NYC, so we put in "Chicago." Before it was over, we were at the Hampton Inn in New Jeresy. Our rooms weren't ready yet, so we had to wait like 10 minutes for the cleaners to finish up. Once they were ready, Lisa, Sarah, Jessie, and I were assigned to room 318, the complete opposite side of the hall of the other 2 rooms that our friends were in. As soon as we got there, we had some time to get ready for the dinner cruise that was going to be held later that night. We had about 3 hours of free time before the crusie in Times Square, so we all wore tennis shoes with our skirts. When we forst saw NYC, I think everyone's eyes were glued to the bus windows. It was amazing. When we arrived in Times Square, we were told to roam around for the next 3 hours. Amanda, Mac, Woj, Emily, Sarah, Lisa and I stayed together. The first thing we did was go inside the Hershey's Chocolate Factory Store. It was pretty cool. We went into a few other places, like sovineer places, the MTV store, and such before we ended up in Toys R Us. I have never seen anything so colorful and fun. We walked in and saw a huge indoor farris wheel. We played our $3 and got on. It was pretty sweet. After that, we went upstairs and played in the candyland section of the store. Then after playin in there for awhile, we did some more shopping. As we were headed towards the middle of Times Square, we bumped into Anthony, AJ, Ryan, and them and they told us that they just saw the naked cowboy and the led us into the direction where we could find him. He was absoluty crazy. We all got pitures with him and he had us crackin up. We then went to the middle of Times Square and got our group picture and got on the buses for the dinner cruise. The dinner cruise was one of the best things on the trip. First we ate, then we had a dance. Most of the time, we stayed on the outside deck because it was so pretty. It was also very windy so we had to come inside sometimes just to get warm. At one point when we were all inside, there was a limbo contest. I would have never guessed Mr. Williams could limbo so low. Jeremy ended up winning, but Mrs. Williams was probably in the top 5. The memories that were made on the boat we ones I will never forget. When we got back to the hotel, we had about 1 hour of freedom before we were in our rooms with the guard on duty. After we were shunned in our rooms, us girls stayed up for a little bit and just talked and it was nice. The next morning, we had a wake up call that Lisa answered by saying "Fuck You" and immediately hung up at about 6 am. We somehow got out of bed and got ready to go by 8. It took abuot 1 hour to get to the city because of all of the traffic. The first thing that happened when we got there was we walked to go on another boat to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island, we got bombarded by crazy black people trying to sell us watches and sunglasses. Some people bought stuff, but I along with Tara went to streat vendors while we were waiting for the ship and I bought a NYC hat. Finally we got on the boat and once again, it was very cold and windy. I think it was about this time we decided to call our tour guide Hell. She was a nice lady, but she was weird. We didn't think that her nickname would stick, but it did. Even Mr. Williams was calling her that. Anyway, the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island was really cool. I wish that we could still walk up the Statue of Liberty, but after 9/11, we are not allowed to anymore. When we got back, we had lunch at our own at South Sreet Seaport and we ate New York pizza. It was so good. Pizza here is nothing compared to NYC pizza. We then did some shopping and I think we all bought cell phone covers and headed to the buses for our guided tour of NYC. Our tour guide was pretty good, but I forget his name. We went to Ground Zero and Chinatown where I bought a cute new hat. There is really not much to say about Ground Zero, we just looked at where it stood. After the tour, we went to Planet Hollywood, where the food absoluty sucked. I don't know of anyone who actually liked it, but it was still a cool place to go. Then we went to Chicago. Oh my goodness, there is no words to describe how good it was. Our seats wre like 8 rows back and Wayne Brady was one of the stars. I am still singing the songs in my head today. I am so glad we picked that musical. We were all still pumped from the musical when he got on the buses and headed towards the Empire State Building. I went up all 86 floors with Robert and it was awesome. We were there at night so the whole city was lite up and I did not want to leave. We played in the gift shop with Danirlle, Ruffo, Jessie, Jeremy, and some other people and then we had to leave. We got to the hotel room, and I went to Robert, Mainer, Steve, and Greg's room to hang out with them. In that one hour I was in there, I don't think I have ever laughed harder in my life. We were laughing so hard that Mr. Williams came in to see what was funny and what he was missing, and he came in wearing Spongebob pj pants and G-Spot shirt. We showed him the scene in "The Big Lebowski" where they are outside talking about "Paying $1,000 to suck someones cock and $100 to watch." He enjoyed it way too much, and then we got into a talk about his shirt. It did not actually say G-Spot so one my my ditzy moments kicked in and i could not figure out what his shirt metn and it took awhile. We were all seriously crying we were laughing so hard. I finally had to return to my room where we pretty much had a party. We talked to Jeremy's room (420) and Ryan's room (402) pretty much all night on our phones in out room. Somehow, both of our phones had different phone lines, so they were each on one phone. At one point, we were literally hanging outside our hotel room windows and looking up to talk to them. It was quite an experience. Also, lets just say that the gurad on duty didn't do a very good job and he did not deserve the $18 an hour he got. I will leave the night at that, sayin we only slept about 1 hour. We then got up at about 6 again, packed our stuff, and got on the bus from the hotel for the last time. It took another hour to get into the city, then we had free time along 5th Ave. Tara, Amanda, Lisa, Woj, and I went several places, including Trump Tower and St. Patrick's Cathedril. We then headed towards Radio City where Mr. Williams almost made us get lost. At 11:00, we watched the Christmas Spectacular Show, which included the Radio City Rockettes. I really enjoyed the show, but I think I would have enjoyed it more if we had better seats and we were not so tired. I am still glad that we saw it and I am glad that I did nto fall asleep, as some people did, including Matt Lewis who ended up sleeping on my shoulder. Seeing the show really got me excited for Christmas, and now I can't wait. (Kate, Steve and I thought of you during the show :)By the time that was over, everyone was like starving, and we went to the ESPN Zone for lunch. The food there was really good. When we were done eating, we went upstairs to the arcade room and fooled around. Amanda and i decided not to spend the money on playing games because it was really expensive, so we just walked around and talked to everyone. When we left ESPN Zone, we were headed home. We said good bye to the city, and Robert came to my seat with me so we could watch DVD's on the laptop. After awhile, I switched seats with Amanda because I had headache and I wanted to stretch out. We made our first stop and I was feeling better and then we watched "Coyote Ugly" ont he bus on the way to the Country Cupboard. The food was ok, and it was a nice end to the trip. The rest of the way home, we "bonded" and finally got into West Middlesex at about 11:30. WHen I got home, I woke up mom and we talked for awhile about the trip. I am still exhausted from it. There were so many fun details I could not possibly type here, but the moral was it was fun. Now I think I am going to go spoon my eyes out because I have typed this thing for about an hour and a half.
