Devil of My Heart - 15

Jan 22, 2008 21:25

Junsu doesn’t know how to reach Yoochun, though he desperately wants to let him know that he’s been wrong. “Forgive me Young Master, I never knew the devil of my heart could have grown so big and greedy,” another tear slipped down from his swollen eyes as he whispered to himself. “You deserve this, a nice girl that can give you a nice family and make everyone else happy.” His hand flew up to wipe away the endless tears and he sniffed, an inked brush shaking in his other hand.

Junsu can’t write, he can’t read, in fact he’s been illiterate since the day he breathed. Looking down hopelessly at the paper the tears eventually subsided, his lips constantly pressing up against each other or he’s biting it as he thinks. A circle was formed, and then another, the bodies eventually became visible and he did not forget to mark their happy faces.

He drew hearts, he knew what they are and what it represents and let out a sigh. His brows frown and he pursed his lips, tears heating his eyes again; but this time it really hurts to cry. Junsu eventually wonders if he’s going to go blind from all these pointless crying.

`

He bathed in lively atmosphere of the market as he crossed it, mind almost seeing memories too vividly; but he doesn’t care. Soon, he’s going to get out of here and there’ll be no reason left to linger. What he seems to scare him the most were the bandits often pile in Sung Chul District, he shivered at the though of the old man kidnapping him earlier.

Once he gets to Jaejoong and Yun Ho it’ll all be safe though. At least he still didn’t give up on hopes or life itself. Crossing the whole forest on feet wasn’t the easiest thing; Junsu never recalled it being this wide or confusing riding with Yoochun. His breathing came hard as he wiped the sweat off his forehead. Where was that rest post they had came upon earlier?

For hours it continued, drenched in his own sweat and questions, Junsu tried to figure out which way to Sung Chul. His feet kept moving but he hadn’t seen any progress. What’s more, the sun is settling back to sleep leaving only the moon to guide a dark sky. “Where am I going?” he asks himself frustrated as he stumbles to the ground, too tired to even think about moving.

Allowing his eyes to closed, his breath began to soften down. It was quite peaceful for a moment until he heard the ground rumble. Sitting up to look around he discovered in the distant a figure was fast approaching him. He stayed still, until the figure turned into a man who he couldn’t make out in the dark. “Need a lift?” he stops in front of Junsu and held out a hand. The dust dragged under him and Junsu had to back away a few steps to prevent it from going into his lungs.

It was scary, Junsu did not know whether or not to trust this stranger. “A..a lift?”

He saw the shadow nodded, “What’s a small boy like you wondering around in the forest alone?”

“What??” Junsu was taken aback, had he been followed? The tall man jumped down swiftly and launched towards Junsu, the boy staggered over a nearby tree. He struggled with the hand squeezing his slender neck, robbing the breath out of him.

“Listen little boy, I know you have money cough it up,” he whispered exactly what Junsu feared, sounds like another bandit. The fingers wrapped around his neck tightened, pushing his body further back into the tree.

Junsu gave out a frantic gasp, “I have none!”

“LIAR!” he head was forced to pound back against the tree, the roar was ugly and fierce in his face, “If I don’t get money,” the man’s other hand began to wonder all over Junsu, searching his loose pockets and trembling body for any sign of currency, “I’ll have to please myself another way,” he gave Junsu’s butt a squeeze.

The boy let out a cry of shock and terror, hands fisting the man’s chest as hard as he can, “Let me go you pervert!” he grunted.

A cold laugh escaped into the hollow air, it was too dark to see but the horror in Junsu’s eyes was still very visible. The stranger made a grab for Junsu’s sleeves, ripping it with one single tear. “Wha..what do you want?” Junsu asks when he forced the boy’s wrists together pressing them both into a knot full of tattered clothes. He began to kick, as hard as he can and eventually got him in the stomach. When the man fell back Junsu let out a scream, “HEELLPP!!! HEELLPP MEEE!!!”

“Shut the fuck up!” The man ordered picking himself up from the ground. Junsu began kicking again until the other got a hold of them and did the same thing to his hands. He had no idea what came to his mind when he pushed himself up and bit the guy, perhaps he was too scared or that his heart was pressuring him to do so.

The stranger shrieked in the dark, eyes and veins popping out when Junsu’s teeth dug into his flesh as hard as he can. In spite of anger or perhaps to stop the pain he whipped his fist across Junsu’s left cheek, sending the smaller flying to the ground, coughing and tasting the blood that ripped at the corner of his lips. “Stupid bastard!” the guy cursed, feet faltering on the ground to pick himself up. “Do that again and I WILL kill you!” he warned.

Junsu turned quiet, not because he was scared but because it was too much to take at one time. He was angry at himself and angry at his life.

`

He was thrown like an item into an abandoned shack, the hay that scattered the ground was too thin to protect the impact from hurting his shoulder. Junsu yelped, stayed there silent for a few minutes before he felt a feet pressing onto his back. “How do you like being fucked here?”

“Don’t touch me! GET AWAY!” Junsu screamed into the ground.

“SHUT UP! You don’t get to decide!” The man shouted back, feet forcing Junsu’s tiny body deeper into the ground. “Choi Siwon takes order from nobody!”

“Yoochun ah…” were the only words that quietly slipped out from his lips.

`

Yoochun’s fingers danced across the innocent sketch that Junsu slipped in his room. Could he mean congratulations? But why would he leave a letter? “Oh God,” a hand flew up to cover his gasping mouth. Like lava his feet devoured the ground to Junsu’s place, almost tripping over himself at the sharp curve around the corner. “JUNSU AH!” he cried banging on his wrecked door, but grew angry and kicked it open, “JUNSU!” he called again, looking around to see if the small body was hiding somewhere in the dark.

“I can’t find Junsu!” Yoochun panted in front of his family in the living room. His dad looked up from his tea and gave Yoochun a weird look, a brow lifting above his wrinkled eye.

“Yoochun ah,” his mother called, “he left.”

“WHAT?!” his face blew up, an aggravate sigh escaped from him, “to where?”

“What are you doing?” his father asks, “It’s a slave, who cares about where he left,”

“Do you guys have any idea how old he is?” Yoochun asks back, “He’s without a family how could he fend for himself?”

“Who cares? Why are you so damn caught up about this? Shouldn’t you be getting ready for you engagement?” The Master asks, eyes firing up in anger at Yoochun.

He hadn’t really noticed that his heart was pounding out of its racket until he took a minute to breathe, but he didn’t have time to breathe!

“Oh God Junsu,” Yoochun hugged the lettered to his chest, “Please be alright, I’ll get to you. Wait for me, wait just a little bit longer,” A tear burned down his cheek as his eyes skimmed over the drawing again, too damn innocent for this, Junsu doesn’t deserve any of this.

`

Jaejoong sucked in a whip of air, sweaty body jerking up from the bed. His eyes were wide and pulse beating too fast for his body and mind to comprehend. “What is it?” Yun Ho sluggishly asks, face swiping the blankets.

“Yun Ho, when was the last time we went to check around the posts?” Jaejoong asks swinging his feet off the bed.

“Huh?” Yun Ho’s head perks up, an arm coming around to secure onto his lover’s waist, “The posts are fine, I’ve been getting reports and stuff, everything seems ok.”

“Seems okay is not enough,” Jaejoong pulled away as he pulled a longer and thicker rope over himself, “Come on, let’s go send out some people,”

“Noo…” Yun Ho whined half heartedly pulling away from Jaejoong’s grip, “Why are you suddenly doing this? You never cared, I’m so tired.”

“Jung Yun Ho!” Jaejoong demanded, “Something is definitely wrong, my senses don’t lie to me!”

“Jae ahh, get back to bed. Are you going crazy again?” Yun Ho weak and tired voice groaned.

“Fine, I’ll do this alone,” the other said pulling on his boots, his eyes adjusting to the dark sky while he tried to guide himself out of the room.

Yun Ho slowly sat up, pulled on his ropes and shoes. He yawned rubbing his eyes to follow Jaejoong.

`

“You’re lucky you’re a guy,” Siwon commented, “When I fuck somebody I do it relentlessly, besides girls are so hard to find around this area,” he complained loosening his clothes.

“Come near me and I’ll bite you again,” Junsu warned, he sat against the crumbling wall glaring at the stranger.

“Hah!” the taller let out a chuckle, “I guess you can try,”

Junsu was nervous when the slowly stepped forward, his body squirming further back and his brows curved deeper. “I..I mean it!”

Siwon leaned down, smiled at his face in the dark, “What a cutie,” he decided, a finger drawing a soft line down Junsu’s arm, revealed through the ripped sleeve. His hand wrapped around Junsu’s sharp jaws, pinning his head to one side to give his lips more access, a tongue darted out to licked Junsu.

The boy whimpered, it felt weird because it’s not Yoochun’s and the hand kept gripping tighter and tighter causing so much pain to his face. Siwon closed his eyes and nibbled Junsu’s earlobes tentatively, as if taking his time to savor Junsu’s fear.

A hand slipped inside Junsu’s shirt making him wiggle even more, hands and feet trying to escape the burdens of the rope.

“Don’t do this.”
