I never realized how much progress I had made in school. I spoke with a counselor at my college and we realized that I am 5 classes away from receiving not just one but three associates degrees pending my math placement retake. Back in 2011 when I took this test I hadn't slept or did the math problems given since before the new millennia. I struggled with the test, which is horribly sad since my last math class in high school was AP Calculus. I asked him what the point of getting the other degrees would be. He didn't have an answer for me besides to say, "If you qualify for them anyhow, why not do it?" So there's that.

I met with another counselor at the school I plan to transfer to for my Bachelors and found out 82 credits will transfer over (by the time I get my associates I'll have 81 credits). I would need to take additional equivalency classes and have those transfer before starting so I save money. Also found out obtaining my certificate would be a waste considering the credits to take the class wouldn't transfer and I would have to take the class again anyhow. I'd rather put that towards a bachelor than towards a certificate.

The counselors both said that switching majors worked in my favor since a lot of the general education stuff I had to take for those worked towards everything else I'm trying to achieve now. I think I would have done it anyhow; except the foreign language. I would have to consider learning a language if I never took ASL classes.

After looking into all of that I started thinking about what else I want to do with my life. There's not much I can do while I'm in school at the moment. Getting a job while trying to rock out these credits is not going to work; I would never see my kids if I did that. I'm going to have to be happy with what I'm doing right now. Plus it will give me the time I need to get my school work done. At the moment I'm registered in school full time. When else will I find the time to read my textbook and do homework outside of the classroom? I have my kids and then I have to sleep so it works for now.

My ankle is starting to feel better. Not 100% but enough for me to start doing planks and push ups. I tried doing a proper squat and only got down to a 135 degree angle before it started to hurt. I will have to try again in a few weeks. I switched the event I was suppose to do at the end of this month to the beginning of March. I will be ready for it.
