It is definitely faster to make a group of characters based on the stereotypes I like best. None of them have names except for the hat dude, who sort of has a name. Although he's not technically a dude. But see, the red dude is not Joshua, and the purple lady is not Naoto (DOGS, not Persona), and the lady in the cowboyish hat is not Yukiko, and the green kid is not Sora, no sir. (I'm more partial to Riku, really, but I wanted a "shounen kid hero" look.) Oh, and hat dude is not that guy from Natsume Yuujinchou. Mostly.
Strangely I think I've fallen in love with Cowboy Hat-Ish Lady, who is kind of the rough crazy person who will come in and bang up your furniture and leave stains on your carpet and tell you to stop whining about it, but will also step in and help when no one else will. Especially if it involves shooting things. Unless it might damage her glasses. She needs those to see.
