Wow, hello summer. So much for spring, since it's about a million and seven degrees outside. I am not prepared for this! I don't know how to wear things other than turtlenecks! Hence today's massive laundry project.

Mainly, I feel the need to mention that the Eastern European peasant disco, newly located at Uncle Fester's, is the most awesome event ever. In the midst of Kirkwood craziness (i.e. girls wearing only football jerseys and high heels), there is this tiny two-story bar, which last night was filled with a ridiculous variety of Bloomingtonians. The audience included a dude in an IU football jersey, two people who wrapped shirts around their heads as turban-esque things, assorted people with dyed-black assymetrical hair, and a ton of non-students. And the band consisted of a small Russian man singing with a local group called the Neverweres, who were pretty awesome both on their own and with the guest singer. And wow did the bar have good drink specials for a Saturday night. I am a fan. Anyone up for going the next time they host the event?

I refuse to do any work. It feels like I've had no weekend, even though class starts tomorrow, so I will sit on the floor and do putzy computer things while people watch a documentary about the French Revolution above my head.
