A Day in the Dungeon
Our house is being invaded by window installers.
...Okay, perhaps 'invaded' isn't the right word since my parents hired them to replace our windows. BUT STILL. They're going to be here all day and I have very little option for private sanctuaries. The windowless rooms in the house I could come up with were: the tiny upstairs bathroom where we are keeping our (no doubt) angry cats and the walk in closet in my parents' room.
I was all set to go out on the porch because, even though it's raining, at least there's an outlet there; when Mom saved the day by setting me up here in the basement. It may be dank, it may be musty, but at least it's cool and I've got plenty of space. She even set up the fold-up table for me. Moms are awesome!
So, the question is, how am I going to spend all this time while waiting for the upstairs rooms to be finished? Will I squander my time or use it for a purpose?
POSSIBLE THINGS TO DO:
-Make a LiveJournal post.
-See a spider and totally, totally freak.
-Play Pokemon HeartGold
-Write one of them thar oneshots I've been itching to do
-Start writing Saturday's Diplomacy chapter since difficulties are pretty much guaranteed.
-Try to think of what to do for #sea-of-chaos's Slayers Action contest.
-Get on the exercise bike.
-Make graphics.
-Mooch around on the internet and waste time.
-Do story planning.
