Positive Attitude

Well, it happened just like I knew it would. I'm not going to get a single morning with the house to myself this Spring Break. I was really looking forward to get a lot of writing done this week, since it's so much easier to write in an empty house and when I know I won't be interrupted. But both my sister and my dad have gotten sick. Jenn's ( Read more... )

Great graphics, again.^^

Gah, I want to find that darn poem! I forget to ask my sister about it. And I wrote it down, just don't know where the heck I put it. Maybe I'll just get another poem.

I've been sick too. There must be something going around.

^^ Thanks!

Well, whenever you find it I can make the banner.

Yeah, everyone's sick...my Mom went to the clinic yesterday and the place was packed.

I'm glad to hear others are sick, even if that sounds mean, because when I started getting sick again I thought maybe I have cancer in my lymph nodes already and that's why I keep getting sick (oral cancer spreads to the lymph nodes).

Actually, I have a different poem in mind now. It's by Wordsworth, and I've memorized it:

So that ye may have
Clear images before your gladdened eyes
Of nature's unambitious underwood
And flowers that prosper in the shade. And when
I speak of such among the flock as swerved
Or fell, those only shall be singled out
Upon whose lapse, or error, something more
Than brotherly forgiveness may attend.

Now I know that's a bit long for a graphic or banner/sig, but at least maybe the part beginning with "And when..." could fit on a banner?

Mmkay. I'll try to get it all on the banner, but depending on the size I might have to cut it. Just to clarify...this is what you want most on the banner right? "And when
I speak of such among the flock as swerved
Or fell, those only shall be singled out
Upon whose lapse, or error, something more
Than brotherly forgiveness may attend."

Do you want me to use the same picture of Hidan as I used on the original wallpaper, or a different one? And what size should the banner be?

I found the poem I originally wanted!

The fairest things have fleetest end,
Their scent survives their close:
But the rose's scent is bitterness,
To her that loved the rose.

(Gender was originally "to him that loved the rose" but I changed it since I'm a girl)

It was by Francis Thompson, btw.

And yeah, I think I want the wallpaper pic, could I see it one more time just to be sure?

I'll have to get back to you on the size, I'll find out what the size should be on the forum.

Oooh, that's pretty ^^

Here's the original wallpaper: http://s58.photobucket.com/albums/g268/DesdemonaVIII/?action=view¤t=yousayinsanelikeitsabadthing45634.png

I could use that image, which is rather small, or I could use a different image. For example, I found this really nice vector of Hidan: http://www.akasuna.net/design/vector/naruto/hidan.png

But whatever you think works best ^^

I like the vector picture.^^ I think that fits with the poem more.^^

Well, our whole sigs can only be 500 x 500 and that's including text I have underneath, so....I'm not sure about sig sizes, I'd like it to be sizable but not huge or anything, I guess.XD Like I said, I don't know about dimensions so maybe you'd be better at picking one than me.^^

Okey-dokey, I liked the vector better too ^^

500 x 200 is usually the biggest size I make, so something like that would probably work. Are there any KB restrictions? Most boards don't like a sig to be over 100 KB and a sizeable PNG can be bigger than that, so I have to keep that in mind in making it.

Hm, not sure about that with the KB thing, I'll have to check and get back to ya on that.
