I have a schedule. I have a schedule for a reason. It's so I can balance two fics at once and update both once a week while still having time to work on my original project. Unfortunately there's... y'know... my whims and all.
It's Monday, and I should be focusing on writing chapter 22 of 'The Oracle's Wish'. In fact, I should be getting ahead because I estimate that there will probably be only two more chapters and it's nice to give people some notice of when it's ending.
Unfortunately, what I want to write is the next chapter of 'Diplomacy' which is still all bran-spanking-new and fresh and doesn't need an update until next Saturday.
So, as it stands, I've written half a chapter for something I won't need to update until Saturday and have nothing but notes for a chapter I'll need done by Wednesday. I mean, I'll get it done, but sometimes this schedule can be a bit of a pain. Though, I think it's for the best anyway. Once a week update is enough and I don't think I need to be any quicker. But sometimes my focus is out of whack and I end up way ahead on one project and behind on another one.
As usual, I blame Xellos and Filia. But this time I think it's actually their fault.
