Had a bit of a scare last night. Mom and I found a bit of a bump on my cat Lisa's back so we took her into the vet to have them look at it (she was due to have her blood and weight checked on anyway). Of course we feared the worst.
Well, the vet doesn't really think it's too much to worry about. She says it feels much more like scar tissue than anything harmful, and since my cat gets into her share of scrapes with the other cat (thought they usually don't get that serious) and likes to jump around and explore different places, she could've gotten something like that. The vet said we can keep an eye on it and if it gets bigger or changes then we might need to check further, but she didn't even suggest a biopsy so it seems like things are okay for now. At least I hope they are.
