Okay, people. Asking for "any Decemberists" or somesuch - take your pick of the current band-of-the-moment with maybe three albums at most out - is fine. Chances are, the songs aren't that widely divergent, or if there are several styles, there's only a few to choose from each. No biggie.
Asking for "Yes" or "Iron Maiden" ... right. Yes. Sure. I'll just zip it all up and send it to you, how's that sound? Just sit there and don't type anything else until it downloads. That should spare us all for a while.
Okay, so to be fair, the person asking for Yes was polite enough, said she wasn't familiar with them, just wanted an assortment - but even that is *something*! Saying, "hey, I don't know them - maybe one song in each of their major styles?" that's something. But ask for *something*! Even if it's just "whichever songs you like best" or "their biggest hits" or "their loudest songs" or whatever.
Because some bands? Have been around for longer than you've been alive!
