Sunday mornings rock my socks
I love being able to sleep in!
I stayed up late last night talking on the phone with various important people. My brother (Christopher) and David's brother (Evan) are in a play right now - Bye, Bye, Birdie. Chris was supposed to be able to try out for the lead parts but the guest director wouldn't let him. We've both worked with her before and she really doesn't like either of us, so it doesn't surprise me that she would be so unfair to him. He's an amazing actor and has a gorgeous voice. How could you turn away such talent? Anyways, both he and Evan were fantastic in their roles (or so I've heard from multiple sources). I wish I could see them! Maybe someone will order a DVD of it so I can see it...
I found out Kelly spoke to David after the play last night, inviting him to a movie. I'm going to take the high ground here and not talk about it, but if you want to hear me rant a little call me.
On another note, my mom has a big doctor's appointment tomorrow. I can't elaborate on LJ, but it's not a bad appointment. It has the potential to be really, really good. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers!
