I DO NOT usually do this, but because it is Pat and i can answer most of these, I will, but I just cannot tag others
1. Wrapping paper or gift bags? I have both. For Christmas I usually do wrapping with paper. For other things, generally buy bags. But most of what I give now is generally sent via online shopping so I do NOTHING!!
2. Real tree or Artificial? When I used to put up a tree I always used real. One is planted out back and is huge now. But I have not put up a tree once dad came and lived with us so that makes it around 10 or so years now. I have all my lights and ornaments-just no wish to do all the work all by myself
3. When do you put up the tree?Let's just say it was NEVER over the Thanksgiving weekend
4. When do you take the tree down? It was always the beginning of January
5. Do you like eggnog? I love Eggnog and spiked is the best. LOL!!!! Bought some today
6. Favourite gift received as a child? The only one that always comes to mind was my Chatty Cathy
7. Hardest person to buy for? Everyone. That is why I generally send food now. I don't spend enough time around those I buy gifts for to know what they want/need. And i HATE to just buy a gift to buy someone something. I want it to mean something.
8. Easiest person to buy for? Kids. They always have a list
9. Do you have a nativity scene? Yes I do. It's a crystal set I bought a piece for years and now it sits out all the time on my credenza
10. Mail or email Christmas cards? I actually do both. I always mean to send everyone a mail card then I let the time get away so I send email cards. But a few get a "real" card.
11. Have you ever recycled a Christmas present? Yes
12. Worst Christmas gift you ever received? A Gallon jar of dill pickles I got the second Christmas after I got married from my husband's sister (the one that makes me shudder) of course she thought it was a great gift since I was pregnant.
13. Favourite Christmas Movie? I love several. Wonderful Life, Miracle on 34th street (the early and the more recent one),The Santa Clause
14. When do you start shopping for Christmas? If I see something during the year I will
buy it. I get lots of catalogues beginning in October and keep the ones I think I will use.
15. Favourite thing to eat at Christmas? Anything. I make a mean cranberry-apple casserole.
16. Lights on the tree? No tree
17. Favourite Christmas song? There probably isn't one I DON'T like
18. Travel at Christmas or stay home? Don't go far. Though if my son can't make it home for Christmas, I will probably be up there at some point during the holiday
19. Can you name all of Santa's reindeer? Sure if I have LONG enough......

21. Open the presents Christmas Eve or morning? Always morning,
22. Most annoying thing about this time of the year? The crowds and that is why I stay at home now on Black Friday. I can't believe that I used to do that get up early and go shopping madness. Never again.
23. Favourite ornament theme or colour? I have ornaments from every year I ever put up a tree so they are all special
24. What do you want for Christmas this year? A clothes steamer as I HATE ironing. Wouldn't mind a waffle maker either.
