So, sisters' river day was a hoot. You guys, we are so funny together. I wish I could come up with some highlights. Oh yeah. Mondo said, "These pants are like a cheap hotel. No ball-room."
This is an edit: I forgot, clearly, the funniest part of the day. Dimples and Travis bought glass bottles of liquor. Because there were so few people, she did in fact check our cooler. Without blinking an eyelash, Dimples stepped off the bus, and with the help of Travis, transferred each and every drop of liquor into plastic bottles right there, with us all cheering out the bus windows. It was tight.
Now that we are hanging out pretty much without fail once a week, I think we have more fun together than before. Probably because we are completely choosing, whereas when we hung out a lot before, we had to do assloads of work also. I mean not that I, for one, did it, but it was lingering and that's just as bad. Also, usually one sister, in the past has been missing. It alternates, I'm not pointing fingers. I just noticed that today is July 29. One more month till LoMo is officially a big fat waste of a 21! Woooo! One more month until I am employed by PCH, I should say.
I am so used to going to the river and practically carrying drunk people on my back up the hill. I am so used to shoes being lost, I am so used to being 4 hours behind schedule (Dome, us and our "schedules"), I am so used to carrying all the water chests and 3 tubes up by myself, I am so used to no one paddling and personally handling the river weeds scenic route all on my own. I am so used to all of this and still I love it. Imagine the delight I feel after getting to go with 7, well, 6... socially competent and emotionally stable people. You go, SPF 50. Get 'er done.
Anyway, I think I'll go hassle my parents to leave town. Everyone keep the weekend of August 19th (maybe the 20th) open. Yes, bitches, the whole weekend.
I am going shopping with money I don't have, but since I picked Natalie up a very affordable present today at the river, I should come in just about square. Tonight I hang out with my bitches. Throw James Josh and Pete in there somewhere, and you have yourself a perfect day.
