Cortney and Carrie can probably attest to the following: I have always hated Tom Cruise. No one ever really knew why. I've hated watching his movies ever since I was a little kid. Wouldn't watch Top Gun (which, I am understanding lately, is a darling little film aside from loser). Now I believe the reason for my hatred is beginning to surface. I know what you're thinking. "But Lorain, you don't really believe in prescription drugs when behavioral therapy is an option, either. You think SSRIs are ridiculous!" True, but NOT FOR PPD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SOME THINGS REQUIRE MEDICINE. YOU STUPID STUPID ACTOR. SOME THINGS CAN'T BE FIXED WITH SCIENTOLOGY. I KNOW IT'S SURPRISING. I LIKE CAPITALS. Like mental illness isn't stigmatized enough already. I hope people who didn't already hate him don't think he's being intelligent. Anyway, in honor of 20 years of thinking Tom Cruise is an idiot, here are some funny things smart people said:
