(no subject)
ok so i forgot to update the past couple of days. oops.
i went to a cuban festival and ate some fried plantains, chicken and rice. it was good. basically ive been studying because there is a business law test coming up.. and i watched 7 hours of lecture today. it was bad. emerson really gets on my nerves. and he's the worst writer ever! he should definately not write his own textbook.
last night we watched love actually- i love that movie! it was cool seeing stuff in the movie that ive actually been to here. you should all listen to the soundtrack, its great.
oh and i started work- it looks fun. i will be doing alot with the website, the newsletter, helping design promotional stuff for clients. the people are nice too. except for that matt flagler... haha jk. isnt it weird that were working together?! i think it is.
oh today i went to All Souls church in Picadilly Circus (it was designed by Christopher Wren!)and it felt so refreshing to be back at church. i havent gone in like a month, and it was just great to sing worship songs with other christians. plus this church is alot like mandarin so thats cool. i will definately be going back. yay for God!
my dad is coming to london tomorrow with work! i cant wait to see him. i wish my mom couldve come. but they will be here in august. we might even go to rome.
randomly, i went to espn.com today and was reading up on college football....next season is gonna be so much fun. and chris leak was #5 in the heisman race.
oh yeah, another thing i want to go to is the Live 8 concert in hyde park. its to raise awareness for poverty in africa, an issue i have recently felt really deeply about because of this movie called "invisible children". you should really watch it if you can. i think it will be shown at UF in the fall. hopefully, this concert will help with the poverty somehow....we'll see. oh and pray for the leaders at the G8 summit scotland in July that they can make some good decisions.
