As always, I love the shades of color you've painted your Zarek in, the matter-of-fact-ness of Laura's voice, and just, the word-play and tone and bantering. I love it. (If it's not already obvious, I love it when characters cross swords verbally, especially as equals ( ... )

You write some of the best Tom Zarek out there. I dare say you understand his character better than even the writers, who at the end of the day simply painted him as a terrorist, through and through. But even when you stay are as devoted to canon as canon can be, your observations of him are always incredibly thoughtful and beautifully reasoned. This was no exception.
I admit more than a casual affection for Roslin/Zarek ship, though mostly as heat of the moment, impassioned sort of coupling. But this was such a fabulous, fabulous scenario for them, I might have to rethink the way I perceive their relationship. I do really believe Tom tried for New Caprica. That he believed in it. unless Baltar turned out to be a paragon of excellent judgment
*snort* I love Laura's inner monologues.
Gaeta looked surprised by her accusation. "The Vice President supports education," he said, like he honestly believed it. LOL! Ah, Gaeta, so young and wide-eyed and ( ... )

And the way you've envisioned the missing time on New Caprica is so vivid. This feels like a missing episode.
You've created a totally believable scenario for them that works within canon. Nicely done!
